A fragrance decant is a small sample of a perfume that has been carefully transferred from a genuine, sealed bottle into a smaller spray vial. Decants let you experience full-strength fragrances in sizes from 2ml to 30ml without paying full-bottle prices.

Are fragrance decants authentic?

Yes. At Fragrance ADDX, every decant is hand-filled in Adelaide from a 100% authentic, sealed bottle. We never use imitation or synthetic copies.

How many sprays are in a 2ml decant?

A 2ml decant gives approximately 20–24 sprays — enough for 10–12 full-day wearings. A 5ml gives around 50–60 sprays, and a 10ml gives 100–120 sprays.

What is the difference between EDP, EDT and Parfum?

EDP (Eau de Parfum) contains 15–20% fragrance oil for 6–8 hours of wear. EDT (Eau de Toilette) contains 5–15% for 4–6 hours. Parfum (Extrait) contains 20–30%+ for 8–12+ hours. Decants let you trial each concentration before buying a full bottle.

How should I store my perfume decants?

Store decants away from direct sunlight and heat — a drawer, cabinet or closet is ideal. Avoid the bathroom as humidity and temperature swings degrade fragrance molecules over time.
