Givenchy was founded in Paris in 1952 by Hubert de Givenchy. The house created L'Interdit in 1957 originally for Audrey Hepburn — one of the most storied fragrances in history — and followed with the masculine classic Gentleman (1974) and the cerebral Pi (1998). The modern Givenchy portfolio includes Gentleman Paris, Irrésistible, and the reformulated L'Interdit (2018).
