Lattafa Musamam Black Intense Eau de Parfum Decant
Musamam Black Intense is Lattafa's 2025 woody aromatic release from perfumer Jordí Fernández, built around a distinctive gourmand-in-the-drydown structure that's made it one of the brand's most talked-about launches. This is a hand filled, 100% authentic fragrance decant from Fragrance ADDX, poured in Adelaide from a genuine Lattafa bottle.
Experience
The opening blends lavender, nutmeg, sage, and bergamot — aromatic and slightly spiced, with the sage keeping things herbal rather than sweet.
The heart brings cedarwood and geranium alongside the modern captive notes Rosyfolia and Mahonial, giving a smooth, sophisticated woody-floral development that reads considerably more expensive than the price tag.
The drydown is where the name earns its keep: Cocoapulse™, tonka bean, maple, Ambrofix™, and patchouli build a rich, gourmand-woody base with genuinely strong longevity — 8+ hours is typical, with excellent projection.
Key Notes
- Top: Lavender, nutmeg, sage, bergamot
- Heart: Cedarwood, geranium, Rosyfolia, Mahonial
- Base: Cocoapulse™, tonka bean, maple, Ambrofix™, patchouli
What Does Musamam Black Intense Smell Like?
A woody aromatic with a genuinely unexpected gourmand twist in the base — the maple and cocoa accord in the drydown is what separates it from typical woody-spicy Middle Eastern releases and has driven much of its word-of-mouth popularity since launch.

8+ hours, with the cocoa-maple-patchouli base anchoring the fragrance well into the evening.
Is it unisex?
Yes, Musamam Black Intense is marketed and worn as unisex.
How does the decant compare to a full bottle?
Identical. Same juice, same batch, same performance. Just in a smaller, sharper glass sprayer. You're paying for the fragrance, not the box.
